Milan, July 25, 2014 - Pavia e Ansaldo represented major national and Lombard unions of non-scheduled local public transport (FIT-CISL, UGL, Confcooperative, Craftsmen Union, Satam, TAM, Uritaxi, AGCI) and the three largest radio taxi companies in Milan (TaxiBlu 4040, Autoradiotassi 8585 and Yellowtaxi 6969) in the inquiry and the related sanction proceeding started by the “Commissione di Garanzia sugli scioperi” in relation to the unauthorized taxi service stoppage which took place in Milan last May to protest against the multinational UBER.

With decision published yesterday, the Commission recognized the absence of any responsibility (in relation to the promotion and coordination of the unauthorized strikes) of the trade unions and the companies under investigation and did not thus proceed to impose any financial sanctions.
The operation was coordinated by Nico Moravia and Marco Giustiniani of the Administrative Law department.
