The law firms in the acquisition of Surfaces by TA Associates
Milan, 7 August 2020 – TA Associates, a private equity company counting on over fifty years’ experience, announced it entered into an agreement for the acquisition from Astorg of the Surfaces group active in the production of diamond abrasive tools for finishing on ceramics, stone, glass and mechanical components, present on the market with the brands Surfaces Technological Abrasives, Adi, No Coat, Rbm and International Chips.
Latham & Watkins assisted TA Associates with a team guided by Stefano Sciolla (in the photo) and made up by Giovanni Spedicato, Andrea Stincardini, Federica Ventura, Nadia Campanella, Paola Nava and Elena Pavan for corporate aspects, Marcello Bragliani, Antongiulio Scialpi, Erika Brini Raimondi, Cristina Grechi, Marco Ferrante and Sofia Caspani for finance aspects, by Cesare Milani and Virginia List for regulatory matters of the transaction and by Luca Crocco for antitrust matters.
Astorg was assisted by law firm BonelliErede with a team guided by partner Mario Roli, member of the Focus Team Private Equity, and made up of Giulia Elisabetta Uboldi, senior associate, Michela Sandri, associate, Francesco Rigo and Silvia Basilico. The due diligence was guided by Michel Miccoli and coordinated by the associate Giuseppe Carello.
