18 June 2022 – Cultural heritage and community identity – It was really emotional to see the altarpiece depicting the “Madonna del Rosario” of the Church of San Giovanni returned to the Community of Giappiedi di Cascia, restored thanks to our firm, after the damage caused by the 2016 earthquake.
Thanks to the whole Community of Giappiedi, to the Archbishop of Spoleto-Norcia, His Excellency Mons. Renato Boccardo, to the pastor of the Community, Don Giuliano, to the Mayor of the Municipality of Cascia, Mario De Carolis, to the Councilor of the Municipality of Cascia, Luisa Di Curzio, and to the restorer Emanuela D’Abbraccio.
Our project for the return of works damaged by the 2016 earthquake to the communities of Central Italy deprived of identity works continues, in agreement with the Archdiocese of Spoleto-Norcia and the Superintendence of Archeology, Fine Arts and Landscape of the Umbria Region, with the selection of new masterpieces to be restored.
