Pavia e Ansaldo with HIG and Project Informatica in the acquisition of Sinthera

Milan, 17 November, 2021 – The Law firm Pavia e Ansaldo, with a team led by the partner Alberto Bianco and formed by Martina Bosi, Andrea Romanò and Biancamaria Veronese, along with Valentina Simonelli and Francesca Guglielmino in relation to labour law aspects, assisted H.I.G. Europe, European branch of the International investment Fund H.I.G. Capital, in the acquisition, through its portfolio company Project Informatica, of Sinthera S.r.l. a company operating in the Italian information technology market.

Sinthera, with offices in Udine, Padova and Reggio Emilia, is one of the main system integrators specializing in supporting organizations and companies in adopting new technologies in the processes of digital transformation, in particular regarding cloud native and container based architectures.

The entry of Sinthera into the Group will allow, on one side, to add new technological competences in highly growing segments such as the cloud and, on the other, to strengthen the presence of Project Informatica on the Italian market, both in areas where the Group is already rooted (Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia Romagna) and in new geographic areas like Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

The sellers, who will remain involved in the management of the company with a minority shareholding within the Group, were assisted by the lawyer Eugenio Forni, partner of the Law firm Forni Perri of Modena.
