Named Group acquires New Penta from Orienta Capital Partners: the advisors
Milan, 15 December 2022 – Orienta Capital Partners, a company specialising in investments in SMEs, and entrepreneur Guido Dracone have sold 100% of the shares in New Penta to the Named Group, an Italian player active in the market for food supplements, medical devices and cosmetics.
At the same time, both Orienta Capital Partners and Guido Dracone, who maintains the position of managing director of New Penta, reinvested in the Specchiasol group. As stated in a note, New Penta’s entry into the Specchiasol Group allows both companies to leverage important commercial synergies and a complementary product portfolio.
It is recalled that the acquiring group, controlled by White Bridge Investments, was created from the merger of Specchiasol, Named, Phyto Garda, Wellmicro, Farma-Derma, Named sport and Gdi Martera.
The advisors
In the context of the transaction, the Specchiasol group was assisted by the law firm Giovannelli e Associati with a team led by partner Matteo Delucchi and composed of senior associate Giulia Sannino and associates Chiara Iacopelli and Chiara Ricchetti and, for bank financing aspects, by partner Michele Mocarelli and associate Tania Maria Valle.
Pavia e Ansaldo instead assisted Orienta Capital Partners in relation to all legal aspects of the transaction, with a team comprised of partner Alberto Bianco and associate Erica Lepore.
Guido Dracone was also assisted by Portolano Cavallo firm with a team comprised of partner Luca Gambini and associate Chiara Sannasardo.
