PAVIA e ANSALDO SUCCESSFULLY ASSISTS ALDA BEFORE THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION ON THE READMISSION TO EU TENDER
Milan, November 2, 2016 - Pavia e Ansaldo assisted the European Association for Local Democracy (ALDA) in a procedure before the European Commission, on the readmission to tender in the EU award procedure EuropeAid “Raising public awareness of development issues and promoting development education in the European Union”. The award procedure was initiated by the European Commission in the context of the international co-operation and development program DEAR - Development Education and Awareness Raising.
The European Commission had initially excluded the Association and a consortium - composed of 58 institutions and unions from different EU member states - which was represented by the Association as lead-applicant, because of the alleged existence of one of the causes of exclusion provided by the award procedure.
The procedure before the Commission aimed at affirmation of compliance of the ALDA-lead consortium with the requirements established by the award procedure. The Association, assisted by a team headed by partner Filippo Fioretti with partner Marco Giustiniani and associate Maria Rosaria Raspanti, obtained from the Commission the re-admission to tender in the award procedure and the declaration of the absence of the initially alleged grounds for exclusion.
