Pavia e Ansaldo opens in Spain
- The aim is to create a platform for companies in a market that is in strong recovery where the law firm has operated for over 20 years

Barcelona/Milan, 28 February 2016 – The law firm Pavia e Ansaldo announces the opening of its Barcelona office at Avenida Diagonal 539.
Pavia e Ansaldo looks to Spain to strengthen its presence in a market which is experiencing a strong recovery and where the law firm has been active for over 20 years, representing Spanish companies which operate in Italy and in countries where the law firm is active, as well as Italian companies interested in the Spanish market.
Pavia e Ansaldo’s Barcelona office joins those in Milan, Rome, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Tokyo and Brussels as well as the 7 foreign desks, thereby confirming the strong international nature of the law firm which, for its foreign practices operates through lawyers authorised to practice both in Italy and in the different jurisdictions where they are active.
Meritxell Roca Ortega has been part of Pavia e Ansaldo since 1996, setting up the Spanish Desk of the law firm. Partner since 2009, she is admitted to the bar both in Italy and in Spain, was President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Italy from 1999 to 2008 and is now the partner heading up the new office in Barcelona.
