Pavia e Ansaldo, CBA and Gattai in Finint’s entry into Proteko


Milan, December 18, 2023 – Finint Investments’ fund, Finint Equity for Growth, finalizes its third investment with the entry into the capital of Proteko S.p.A., a company specializing in services for security management in companies, with offices in Torri di Quartesolo (VI), San Pietro di Legnago (VR) and Presezzo (BG).


Finint’s 60% stake in the company is aimed at supporting its growth path and strengthening its organizational structure.  The deal includes a significant reinvestment by the current founding partners, Francesco Scelsi and Antonio Mendo, who will retain the role of managing directors. In addition, a number of managers who have been key players in the current growth of Proteko S.p.A., and whose role is fundamental in the company’s development path, will enter the company’s capital.

Founded in 2016 Proteko offers services, consulting and training for safety management mainly to industrial clients.


Finint was assisted by Pavia e Ansaldo Law Firm, with a team coordinated by partner Alberto Bianco and formed by Erica Lepore and Mariarosaria Sellitto, in relation to all corporate, M&A and banking aspects of the transaction. The tax and regulatory aspects of the structure were handled by CBA with a team formed by partner Francesco Assegnati and Associate Andrea Motta.


The sellers were assisted by Stefano Oddo as M&A advisor and, for legal profiles, by Studio Gattai, Minoli, Partners with a team consisting of Partner Stefano Catenacci and counsel Michele Ventura.


The transaction was financed by ICCREA assisted by Simmons & Simmons with a team consisting of partner Davide D’Affronto, supervising associate Cettina Merlino and associate Gianmarco Cornalba and, for tax aspects, partner Marco Palanca and associate Giulia Aglialoro.

The notarial fulfillments of the transaction were handled by Notary Ciro De Vivo.
