Giorgio Fabio Colombo works out of Pavia e Ansaldo’s Milan office, where he is a member of the Japan Desk team.
Giorgio Fabio Colombo is full professor of comparative law at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice. An expert in international arbitration and contracting, he has worked with private and institutional entities not only in Japan, but also in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Mongolia and Uzbekistan and is on the enrolment lists of several arbitral institutions (EDAC, HKIAC, JCAA, KCAB International, MIAC, TAI).
He is the author of numerous volumes and essays on comparative law, Japanese law and arbitration.
He is member of the International Bar Association (IBA)
He is founding member and member of the executive board of the Italian-Japanese Association for Comparative Law; member of the executive board of the Associazione Italiana di Studi Giapponesi (AISTUGIA); member of: Japan Arbitration Association; Deutsch-Japanische Juristenvereiningung e.
