Francesco Bruno has been a partner of Pavia e Ansaldo since 2014 and  is working in the firm’s Rome and Milan offices.
Within the area of environmental law, Francesco advises multinational corporations, public bodies and leading Italian companies on a variety of issues relating to criminal law (damage to the environment; offences threatening the health and safety of citizens and workers), administrative law (penalties, authorizations procedures, relations with the public administration and appeals) and civil law (bringing and resisting actions concerning compensation for environmental damage, contractual liability and actions in tort), both representing the client before the courts and advising the client throughout the life of the company.
Francesco has built up extensive expertise in the area of food and beverage law,  and advises on the entire production process, with particular emphasis on marketing of food products, customer relations and on all aspects relating to health and safety, from the various perspectives of administrative, civil and criminal law liability.
He is an Associate Professor at the University of Molise, at the University Biomedical Campus and the University La Sapienza in Rome, where he teaches environmental law, food and beverage law  and safety law. He has been Visiting at the Columbia Law School in New York (Center of Climate Change Law) in 2012, Visiting Faculty at the UCLA School of Law (LA) in 2013 and 2014 and Visiting Researcher at FIU in 2015.
Francesco is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), of AIDA (Italian food law association), as well as secretary of the university association “Club giuristi dell’ambiente” (environmental lawyers club).
He is the author of almost a hundred publications and has been speaker at several conferences, both national and international.
