Law firm Pavia e Ansaldo confirms its decisively international approach with the creation of a China Desk in Italy. The new desk will assist both Chinese clients who are increasingly interested in the opportunities offered by our country and Italian companies that want to invest and realize projects in China.
Head of the new China Desk in Italy will be Mrs. Xie Ying who will join Pavia e Ansaldo as Of Counsel. Xie Ying has gained extensive experience in M&A, Private Equity as well as Commercial and Corporate law.
Pavia e Ansaldo’s China Desk will play a strategic role in managing relations between Chinese investors and their Italian business partners by furthering mutual understanding between the parties involved in the transactions and offering solutions that take into account the differences between the two countries.

Graduated in Law at the University of Beijing and with a Master in International Business Law at the UN ILO International Training Center, Xie Ying has a successful track record in assisting Italian and Chinese clients in corporate and commercial law matters, with an emphasis on joint ventures and M&A transactions, in addition to corporate governance, trade negotiations, international contracts and alternative dispute resolution. Xie possesses also proven expertise in the field of Chinese ODI (outbound direct investments) in Italy and Europe as well as FDI (foreign direct investments) in China.
