New Milan office for Pavia e Ansaldo

The firm is relocating its headquarters to the Torre della Permanente in Via Turati, one of the icons of Milanese Rationalist architecture, thereby strengthening its presence in the country’s main economic and financial centres

Milan, 22 September 2026 – Pavia e Ansaldo announces the relocation of its Milan headquarters to the Torre della Permanente in Via Turati, an iconic example of Milan’s cultured Rationalist architecture, as a further step in its growth trajectory and a strategic vision focused on the firm’s future.

The new headquarters – where Pavia e Ansaldo has become the main tenant, occupying 9 of the tower’s 14 floors – symbolises a successful synthesis of innovation and care for the city’s architectural heritage. It is the result of a long-term approach aimed at strengthening the firm’s presence in the country’s main economic and financial hubs, in order to support businesses navigating the increasingly complex challenges of national and international markets.

The newly inaugurated offices, which replace those at Via del Lauro 7, were designed by AROUND STUDIO, a prestigious Milan-based architecture and integrated design firm, with artistic consultancy provided by architect Alessandro Bianchi.

The spaces have been designed in accordance with the most advanced criteria of environmental sustainability, energy efficiency and technological innovation, combining the elegance and historic charm of the building with modernity and a focus on the wellbeing of its ‘residents’. The layout of the offices is designed to enhance the sense of openness and the view over the city, maximising and making the most of natural light. The individual workstations, equipped with a completely updated IT infrastructure, are complemented by a mix of areas that facilitate both opportunities for interaction and collaboration, as well as the various needs for reception, meetings and client visits.

This change also responds to the need for more functional and prestigious spaces, in line with the consolidation of Pavia e Ansaldo’s presence in the Milan area. The move forms part of a wider process of renewal for the firm, which has also recently involved its Turin office, relocated to the historic Società Acque Potabili building on Via San Quintino.

The new premises, where over 80 of the firm’s professionals will be based permanently, comprise spaces that combine comfort with operational efficiency and are enhanced by architectural features that reflect the firm’s new identity.

Transparency, elegance and refinement permeate the offices, combined with distinctive architectural features, such as the iconic ‘Vertical Library’, which forms the backbone of the project and the firm’s very essence, housing some of the most important legal texts, monographs and collections.

Each floor, characterised by a different colour, is designed so that the workstations – situated near the windows in offices inspired by the ‘old Milan’ style, with panelling and walls in muted, understated shades – revolve around the most symbolic and functional core, which houses the meeting and conference areas, blending the tradition of historic buildings with the elegant and understated charm of the modern city.

The top floor, offering a prime panoramic view of the city, is dedicated to welcoming visitors, housing the reception area and several meeting rooms that can be reconfigured as required. Here, the essence of wood envelops the spaces with refinement and great attention to detail, almost symbolising the same care and attention that Pavia e Ansaldo devotes to its clients.

“The new headquarters reflects the identity of Pavia e Ansaldo: a firm which, true to its values and roots, is opening itself up even further to transformation and the new challenges posed by evolving markets,” comments Stefano Bianchi, Managing Partner of Pavia e Ansaldo. “ The move to the Torre della Permanente is a concrete step in this direction: Milan is now, more than ever, a key hub for the Italian and international economic system, and these bright, open-plan spaces with views over the city, equipped with cutting-edge technology, allow us to practise our profession with renewed vigour, as a team and alongside our clients.”.
