Italian investment fund acquires the majority stake in Corradi e Ghisolfi. The firms


Milan, 17 November 2023 – Fondo Italiano d’Investimento, assisted by LawaL, has finalised the agreements for the acquisition of a majority stake in the share capital of Corradi e Ghisolfi, a company operating in the field of agricultural biogas and biomethane plants, assisted by Pavia and Ansaldo.


The transaction, whose completion is subject to the usual conditions linked to legal requirements and is expected indicatively by the end of 2023, is the first to be carried out by the Fondo Italiano Agri & Food – FIAF, a sectoral fund dedicated to supporting the Italian agri-food chain.


A team led by managing partner Piergiorgio Mancone (in the picture on the left) acted for LawaL, with senior associate Luca Gobbi and associate Marco Baio for contractual and corporate aspects and for regulatory and golden power aspects. Partner Davide Medda handled the labour law aspects and partner Roberta Mollica the intellectual property aspects.


Spada Partners handled financial due diligence with a team led by partner Antonio Zecca, assisted by Francesco De Buglio and Pierdamiano Abbenante, and tax due diligence with a team led by partner Luca Zoani, assisted by Pasquale Miracolo and Pierpaolo Colucci.


Pavia e Ansaldo assisted Corradi e Ghisolfi and the Corradi family with a team led by partner Paola Carlotti, with associate Umberto Zaccarelli for contractual and corporate aspects, partner Valentina Simonelli for labour law aspects and partner Filippo Fioretti with senior associate Maria Rosaria Raspanti for regulatory and FDI aspects.


Corradi e Ghisolfi was assisted in the transaction by Unicredit as financial advisor. The Corradi family was also assisted by Domenico Sorrentino for accounting and tax aspects.
