Achille Caliò Marincola is based in the Pavia e Ansaldo’s Milan office, where he is a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity, Corporate and Commercial, and Compliance departments.
Achille’s practice mainly focuses on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and general corporate law. He advises Italian and foreign corporations as well as private equity firms on M&A deals in a variety of industries.
Achille also assists companies on business and human rights matters. Since 2022, Achille has been part of the working group of European experts (Working Group on European Model Clauses on Business and Human Rights), established to draft a set of standard clauses to align international supply chain contracts with the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (“CSDDD”). He is also a member and co-founder of a European network of professionals and academics active in consulting and assistance in matters of CSDDD.
He is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA).
