Pavia e Ansaldo with FS Sistemi Urbani for the disposal of the former “Scalo di Porta Romana”

Milan, 12 November 2020 – Law firm Pavia e Ansaldo, with partners Claudio Cera and Nico Moravia, assisted FS Sistemi Urbani S.r.l. – Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group – and in particular the internal legal team lead by the lawyer Antonio Favaretti, in the procedure for the disposal of the area formerly known as “Scalo ferroviario di Porta Romana” (Milan), on which the Olympic Village for the Milan – Cortina Olympic Games of 2026 will be built.

The successful bidder in the procedure, after a number of phases defined and managed by FSSU with its own advisors, is the real estate investment fund called “Porta Romana”, managed by COIMA SGR and owned by Covivio, Prada Holding S.p.A. and by the fund COIMA ESG City Impact Fund. The offer for the area was euro 180 million and the bidder committed to build the Olympic Village vis-à-vis the Lombardy Region as well.
