Pavia e Ansaldo with SAICA in its entry into Cartorobica and Adda Ondulati

Milan, 5 July 2023 – Studio Legale Pavia e Ansaldo, with a team consisting of partners Meritxell Roca Ortega and Daniele Carminati and of Chiara Scarpelli (Senior Associate) and Silvia Galbusera (associate), assisted SAICA, a Spanish multinational company active in the manufacture of paper and paper for recycling, in the acquisition of a minority stake in the share capital of Cartorobica S.p.A. and Adda Ondulati S.p.A., Italian companies dedicated to the manufacture of packaging. The acquisition allows Saica to continue to grow in the corrugated cardboard sector. The assistance also included the drafting and negotiation of contracts ancillary to the investment in Cartorobica S.p.A. and Adda Ondulati S.p.A.

 

The companies Cartorobica S.p.A. and Adda Ondulati S.p.A. were assisted by the law firm Verdi e Associati, with a team composed of partner Marco Verdi and associates Massimo Rizza and Mattia Ernesti.

 

The strategic aspects were handled by Strategic Management Partners.

 

For tax aspects, the acquiring company was assisted by the law firm Giacalone and the sellers by the firm Bianconi Business Consulting.
