Pavia e Ansaldo with Bracchi in the acquisition of Peterlini’s exceptional transports
Milan, 5 October 2020 – The acquisition by Bracchi Group of Peterlini, a company in Parma active since 1967 in the “technical heavy” exceptional transports, has been executed. The Bracchi Group is among the leaders in Europe in the high value logistics sector and transport, even exceptional, focusing in particular on the business of elevators, agricultural machines, cosmetics, fashion and beverage. The company, included in the portfolio of the IGI Private Equity fund, closed 2019 with a turnover of nearly 140 million euro and, with this transaction, continues along its growth path aiming at creating a large European player in logistics and transport. Peterlini was transferred by the Mavilla brothers (Cristian and Enrico), who will continue to lead the company’s activity in the context of the Bracchi Group, and by Ms. Nerella Peterlini.
Pavia e Ansaldo assisted the purchaser with a team lead by the partner Giuseppe Besozzi and made up by the counsel Maria Chiara Puglisi, the associate Nicoletta Botta and the trainee Andrea Romanò for all corporate, M&A and banking aspects including the negotiation of a financing with Banco BPM S.p.A., which acted also as agent, and BPER Banca S.p.A..
The sellers were assisted by Cross Border, as financial advisor and by the lawyer Fabrizio Ferri of law firm Carra Lori Ferri for the legal aspects, and by the Costa firm for fiscal and accounting matters, while the lending banks by law firm Dentons with a team made up by the partner Alessandro Fosco Fagotto, the counsel Edoardo Galeotti and the trainee Giulia Caselli Maldonado.
PWC assisted the purchaser as financial advisor with a team made up by Alessandro Azzolini, Valentina Assereto and Edoardo Truffo.
