Pavia e Ansaldo wins for LIME in the tender called by Roma Capitale for the entrusting of the rental service in sharing of electric mopeds
Milan, 1 August 2023 – Pavia e Ansaldo assisted LIME Technology in its lawsuit before the Lazio Regional Administrative Court (TAR) regarding the tender called by Roma Capitale for the selection of only three operators who will be authorised to provide the electric moped sharing rental service in the city of Rome.
Following the controversy surrounding the electric micro-mobility services, linked to the critical nature of their management, which has been reported even in the press for some time now, the tender launched by Roma Capitale was aimed at reorganising the service within the capital’s territory in order to regulate it and raise its quality standards by reducing the number of players and consequently selecting the best ones currently on the market. In a ruling issued directly at the outcome of the precautionary phase of the trial, the Lazio Regional Administrative Court rejected the appeal filed by an operator ranked in a position not useful for obtaining future authorisations and contesting even LIME’s admission to the procedure.
The Lazio Regional Administrative Court’s ruling follows a few months later those of the Regional Administrative Courts of Emilia-Romagna and Apulia on the tenders called by the cities of Rimini and Bari, where LIME has always resulted victorious from the relevant litigation.
In all the above-mentioned judgments, Pavia and Ansaldo acted with a transversally structured team with expertise in administrative and corporate law. The team, coordinated by partner Marco Giustiniani, was composed of partner Daniele Carminati and associates Antonello Frasca, Cristiano Piroli and Alessandro Paccione.
