Pavia and Ansaldo continues its expansion in 2022

Eugenia Croce appointed partner of the firm
 Enrique Rebés e Begoña Cendoya join the tax and privacy departments of the Spanish office in Barcelona


Milan, 25 gennaio 2022 – International law firm Pavia e Ansaldo continues its growth process in Italy and Spain.


In Italy, with the appointment as partner of Eugenia Croce, already Of Counsel of the Firm in the Litigation and Arbitration Department at the Milan office, raising the number of partners of the Firm to 35, and in Spain, with the entry of lawyers Enrique Rebés Félix and Begoña Cendoya Iriondo as Of Counsel, to strengthen, respectively, the areas of Tax and Privacy in the Barcelona office.

In response to the consolidation of economic relations between Spain and Italy” – declared Meritxell Roca Ortega, partner and member of the board of directors of Pavia e Ansaldo and head of the Barcelona office – “in 2016 we decided directly enter the Spanish market with the opening of the Barcelona office. The increase in our services in the areas of Tax and Privacy demonstrates the commitment of Pavia e Ansaldo, for which last year was the 60th anniversary since its foundation in 1961, to offer all our clients its multidisciplinary approach and international experience“.


Within the Litigation and Arbitration Department, Eugenia Croce has started and, over time, has developed a specific practice in assisting banks and financial companies in all kinds of disputes related to asset management; in particular, she has specialised, together with a team of five professionals, in disputes relating to financial advisors’ wrongdoing. She is also a member of the International Bar Association (IBA).


Enrique Rebés Félix joins the Tax department. He has extensive experience in providing tax advice to national and international clients, individuals and groups, as well as being an expert in international taxation. He holds the position of Associate Professor of Tax Law at the University of Barcelona, Secretary of the International Law Section of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB) and member of the Tax Law Section, as well as member of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors.


Finally, Begoña Cendoya Iriondo, who joins Pavia e Ansaldo to assist clients in Privacy matters, is specialised in Intellectual Property, Privacy and ICT. She holds a degree in Law and Economics from the University of Deusto and a Master in Commercial Law from the Garrigues Study Centre, as well as a Master in Intellectual Property and Information Society from ESADE Business School. She has also attended specialisation courses in compliance at the International University of Catalonia and in privacy, unfair competition and advertising at the Barcelona Bar Association. She is an associate lecturer at EADA Business School and a member of the Spanish Professional Association of Privacy (APEP).
