Paolo Benazzo works out of Pavia e Ansaldo’s Milan office, where he is a member of the Mergers and Acquisition, Private Equity, Dispute Resolution, Capital Markets, Restructuring and Insolvency departments.

Paolo Benazzo has gained significant professional experience in M&A, LBO and IPO transactions and listings, financing agreements, debt restructuring and management agreements, resolution and recovery of business crises and establishment of innovative start-ups. In the litigation field, with particular regard to arbitration proceedings, both ad hoc and regulated, he has gained particular experience in disputes relating to corporate law, banking law and the liability of members of corporate bodies, top management and auditing firms.

Paolo Benazzo is Full Professor of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Pavia, former Professor at ESCP European Business School CCI Paris Ile de France, as well as Visiting Fellow and Life Member at Clare Hall College in Cambridge (UK). He is a member of several Boards of Directors, even covering the role of Chairman, of important industrial and financial companies, as well as commissioner in extraordinary administration procedures.

He is member of the International Bar Association (IBA).
