GPI S.P.A. is listed on AIM Italia and acquires Insiel Mercato and PCS – Professional Clincal Service

Milan, 30 December 2016 – Pavia e Ansaldo assisted GPI S.p.A. in a complex transaction which led to the listing of the Trento based company on AIM Italia, the multilateral system for trading managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A., and to the acquisition by TBS Group S.p.A. of 55% of Insiel Mercato SpA and 100% of PCS – Professional Clinical Software GmbH.

GPI, set up in Trento in 1988 by Fausto Manzana, its Chairman and Managing Director, is among the principal suppliers of computer and administrative services (business process outsourcing) for Italian public and private health structures.

The listing of GPI on AIM Italia is the consequence of the merger with Capital For Progress 1 S.p.A., SPAC promoted by Massimo Capuano, Antonio Perricone, Marco Fumagalli and Alessandra Bianchi which collected about 51 million euros from Italian and foreign investors.

The acquisition of Insiel Mercato and PCS is a further step in the industrial development and realization of synergies in the areas of  production, distribution and organization  undertaken for some time by GPI.
