Fulvio Maria Palombino works mainly out of Pavia e Ansaldo’s Rome office, where he is a member of the EU and International Law department.
He is Full Professor of International Law at the University of Naples Federico II, where he also teaches International Investment Law and Arbitration. He is also Adjunct Professor of International Law at the Department of Law of Luiss Guido Carli University of Rome.
His interests range from institutional aspects of international law to issues regarding specific normative fields, such as ICSID arbitration and human rights litigation.
He is the author and editor of numerous publications, including a textbook of international law and a monograph on the fair and equitable treatment of foreign investments, and Editor-in-Chief of the book series “Culture and International Flows” (ESI, Naples).
He has regularly participated, as chair, lecturer or discussant, in seminars and conferences at Italian and foreign Universities (including Amsterdam, Prague, Vilnius, Xiamen, Oslo, Riga, Granada, Jerusalem, Göttingen, Ankara, Astana, Athens, The Hague, Vienna, Moscow, Paris, Montreal). Fulvio actively collaborates with the European Union on matters concerning the protection of fundamental rights and advises both privates and public institutions (Italian and foreign).
He is a member of the Italian Association for Arbitration (or AIA), the International Law Association (ILA, Italian Branch), the European Society of International Law (ESIL) and the Italian Society of International Law (ISIL).
