The Spain Desk was founded in 1996. Comprising lawyers authorised to practice both in Italy and in Spain, it has acquired vast experience in various sectors of bilateral investment.

It advises clients, in their native language, in collaboration with the other practice areas of the firm.

The Spain Desk has considerable experience in assisting Spanish companies in Italy, principally in the areas of acquisitions, company incorporation, the creation of networks of distributors and/or agents, employee relations, purchase and sale of real estate, consultancy regarding the energy and pharmaceuticals and large-scale retail sectors, and in litigation. The desk also provides consultancy services to Italian companies, either directly through its own “abogados” or through leading Spanish firms with whom it has built close ties over the years.

Head of the Spain Desk is Pavia e Ansaldo partner Meritxell Roca Ortega, who is qualified to practice both in Italy and in Spain.
