Pavia e Ansaldo Law Firm, Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo and UNIDO ITPO Italy, in collaboration with nine African embassies based in Italy, are organising in Rome the “Eastern Africa Business Forum. Doing Business in Eastern Africa countries: business opportunities for African and Italian companies”.
The forum, which will take place in Rome, on the 11th of June 2019, from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., at the offices of Confindustria nazionale (Viale dell’Astronomia 30), will be the occasion for an overview and an update on the nine countries of East Africa: Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.
The day will be divided into two phases: during the morning, there will be a plenary session dedicated to each Country, describing its peculiarities, followed by a case history of Italian companies and speeches on the financial instruments in order to operate in these countries.
In the afternoon, after the networking lunch, sectoral workshops will follow on Agribusiness, Fashion and BtoB with the delegations of the nine countries.
