Milan, 3 August 2017 – The law firms Pavia e Ansaldo, Gattai Minoli Agostinelli & Partners, NCTM Studio Legale, Linklaters and Russo De Rosa Associati have acted in the acquisition of the Bitolea Group by Stirling Square Capital Partners from the fund Clessidra Capital Partners II, managed by Clessidra SGR S.p.A., and from Fenix S.p.A., a company held by the Intini family.

In 2016, Stirling Square had invested in Viscolube, Italian leader in the recycling of used mineral oils, which is growing fast in the area of collection and treatment of industrial waste.

Bitolea Group of Landriano (Province of Pavia), is the Italian leader in the treatment and recycling of solvents and other chemical waste and has a relevant market share in the production of aliphatic solvents with an overall output of over 110 thousand tons per annum.

Law firm Pavia e Ansaldo assisted the English fund Stirling Square Capital Partners with a team composed of partners Stefano Bianchi, Paola Carlotti and Anna Saraceno with Fabrizio Smiroldo for corporate and M&A aspects while environmental legal aspects were handled by partner Matteo Benozzo and associate Tommaso Filippo Massari.
